Our Story

Cypress & Rose was born from my journey through burnout, grief, and the realization that caring for myself was just as important as caring for others. By embracing slow, intentional rituals, I rediscovered balance, healing, and the power of self-compassion. Today, I share that experience through thoughtful guidance and handcrafted offerings designed to help you reconnect with yourself. My hope is to remind you that self-care is not selfish, it is a sacred step toward lasting well-being.

Rooted in Remembrance

At Cypress & Rose, the path to well-being is gentle and intentional, guided by a belief that true healing honors the whole person. Every consultation, candle, and bath blend is an invitation to pause and reconnect with your inner self, fostering a sense of belonging and renewal. Our philosophy is grounded in the wisdom that the best relationships - with others and within ourselves - begin nurtured by authenticity, patience, and daily acts of care. Founded in Mississippi by way of Alabama by Fala Ishto, our mission is to offer more than products; we offer a supportive community and soulful guidance grounded in over a decade of lived experience. Here, caring for yourself is an act of courage and remembrance, and each small ritual brings you closer to the strength and beauty within. The journey is made together - one step at a time.

Fala Ishto

Cypress & Rose is an online wellness business based in the Southeastern Woodlands - known modernly as Mississippi Alabama, offering personal consultations, handcrafted bath and body products, and hand-poured candles. Every offering is thoughtfully created to encourage self-care, healing, and personal growth.

I founded Cypress & Rose after my own journey through burnout, grief, and renewal. Years of caring for others taught me the importance of extending that same grace and intention to myself, inspiring a slower, more mindful approach to wellness.

With 15 years of experience across multiple industries, I combine professional insight with lived experience to create personalized guidance and handcrafted products. Using eco-friendly, locally sourced materials whenever possible, my goal is to help you reconnect with yourself through simple, intentional rituals that inspire balance, healing, and lasting well-being.

My work is born from the land that raised me, the lineage that remembers me, and the shadow that shaped me.
I am not a product of retreats, certifications, covens, or church titles.

My gifts were not given by man — they were awakened by necessity, ancestry, and survival.

I carry the tongue my people buried for safekeeping.

I walk with clarity earned through fire and lived truth.

My work exists because I refused to die inside systems

that were never built for Southern daughters to thrive in.

I am a shadow worker, pattern clearer, lineage translator, and emotional truth-teller.
I read what people avoid.
I see what lies beneath behavior.
I hear the ancestors when they refuse to whisper.

I specialize in:

- Womb Clearing
- Wand Clearing
- Relationship truth-work
- Shadow identification
- Energetic residue detox
- Ancestral pattern mapping
- Southern lineage clarification

My clarity doesn’t come from oracle decks, though I can use them.
It comes from the Mound memory in my body
and the ancestral intelligence in my breath.

I don’t promise fantasy.
I don’t sugarcoat shadow.
I don’t play ego games.
What I offer is a path back to your own truth — without fear, without shame, and without spiritual theatrics.

This work is for people who are ready.
Not perfect — ready.

If you come to me, come honest.
If you come respectful, you’ll leave empowered.
If you come with chaos, you’ll meet your shadow first.

I am Fala Ishto.
Daughter of the Southeastern Mounds.
Keeper of Shadow and Clarity.
Mother reclaiming her sons.
The voice they tried to erase but could never silence.

This is my work.
This is my walk.
And if you’re here, you’re already on the path to remembering something real
